The weather condition in Pushkar is different from the harsh desert regions of Rajasthan. Pushkar summers are marked by hot and sultry climate from May & June. The temperature varies between 35°C and 45°C, with the minimum temperature being 25°C.

The winters are cool and pleasant with temperatures from 10°C to 25°C. It dips lower at night, down to 3°C. Heavy woolen wear is recommended from late November and to mid February.

The monsoon starts in-July and lasts till September. A fair amount of rainfall, humid weather and cloud cover can be expected. The best season to visit Pushkar is between October and March. Pushkar celebrates different festivals including the famous Pushkar Fair during October/November.
