The earthy and organic sensibility of the restaurant is emphasised by lush botanical surroundings, pebbled walkways, cane & wooden furniture and bamboo railings. The wooden floor, blend of canes, wood, leather and stone display exotic design patterns. The emphasis has been to blend additional construction, furniture, décor and other man-made intrusions into the natural environment of the restaurant space which is an extension of Lodhi Gardens itself. Comforting colours have been used all over the restaurant; the Sewara identity is expressed through orange, used predominately throughout. The subtle lighting creates a romantic setting, although extra light can be arranged on request. The Lodi has 180 cover seating that is split between the Atrium, Bar Floor, Terrace, the Garden Area and the Ground Floor. The Garden Area is surrounded with numerous plants, some more than 100 years old. It is designed in a way to cater to numerous gatherings simultaneously. |
