Fort Bagri is an ancient 300 plus year old Rajput fort and was added on to in stages over the generations with each new Thakurani, and thus provides for a fluid and unique blending of architectural styles. The last coronation ceremony of the present His Highness Maharaja Gaj Singh Ji of Jodhpur was done by the father of the present Thakur of Bagri, Bhawani Singh Ji.
